Westchester Square Medical Center (“Westchester Square”) is a 205-bed acute care hospital located in the Bronx borough of New York City.

The Assignment

Context Capital Group ("Context Capital") was retained by the board of directors of Westchester Square Medical Center to express an opinion on the fairness, from a financial viewpoint, of a
planned investment by New York Hospital. The board of directors sought an independent opinion for the transaction, negotiated by the CEO of Westchester Square, because the large group of
shareholders had diverse and often conflicting interests in the Westchester Square. Context Capital was recommended for this assignment by the corporate attorney for Westchester Square who had worked with Context Capital in a prior successful assignment.areholder.
